Whoa!! What happened in this category?? I've seen such awesome work in the Weddings category of the forum that I was expected to be overwhelmed with the entries for this contest. Don't get me wrong, the ones that were entered are great, but just not as many entries as I was expecting....is this the one that was broken down into two categories?? maybe I need to keep looking. Good luck everyone!

There are quite a few great shots in there, but I also feel this category lacking as well.

I think the economy is somewhat responsible for this. I know I didn't shoot as many "inspired" weddings as the year before, but then again, maybe the awesome shots / shooters are just too busy to submit

I know one of the brides in one of the pictures! She was a teacher at my school and left before she got married. What a trip to run across her picture!

I'm really curious as to what actions were run on this? I saw it said 1600 ISO and even with my D300 I would of still had noise...Did you have noise and how did your remove it???

I ran Unsharp Mask, then ran the Neatimage plugin to smooth out the image and remove as much noise as possible. Then converted the image to black and white and boosted the contrast slightly, Then I finally applied a slight glow to the image.
