Any location ideas in the McAllen (Valley) area?

Hey everyone!!

Just wanted to swing by the site to see if anyone could help me out a bit. I will be going to the valley this weekend coming up for a family wedding but I wanted to take advantage to drive around & take some pictures on Sunday. We'll be in the valley anywhere by McAllen, Weslaco, Monte Alto, AND maybe even crossing the border over to Progresso, Mx.

dude go to the travel and information center in harlingen they can give you some help....also they have a beautiful garden there as well in the back

Visit the World Birding Center in Edinburg, it's nice. Especially in the early mornings, the birds are everywhere. Also Rio Grande Bentsen State Park is pretty cool. Early mornings or evenings, it's hot down there right now....sgs
