Wes that was taken at a Baptist Church on the same road south of where the Edsels were found.

Greg, I haven't done my confederate soldier pictures yet, but I did do one of the Steinhagen Log Cabin. I hope you don't mind if I put it in here...

Greg - Good job with exposure on the statue. First one's a little hot in the hightlights on my screen.

Wes - I like the moody look.

Thanks, Jeff. Right before you showed up, I went around and started re-shooting on the E-500 all the same shots I had taken on the 4x5... and the sky at that moment looked like we were in for a storm (typical film crawl day, eh?). I wasn't sure if it would come out well in the picture but it did. Of course, it made a lot of the scene look a little flat but yo can't have everything.

Greg, we're going to have to stay with your Confederate soldier picture because mine did not turn out well... The grey of the statue an the grey of the leaves of the trees in mine make the statue just disappear into the background. You've got the much better angle on it, too.

Do you have any pictures of the Edsels to put up? Larry? Lee?

Wes it's okay I wasn't sure where to post my pictures, so I just dumped them here.

I have shot that church before, and not as successfully as you have - - it is right before you get to the Fanthorp Inn on the left... It reminds me of a New England church - - very stark & plain.

Here is another shot from my 4x5s from the heritage park. I borrowed the name from Lee - - I call it "Out Behind the Wood Shed"

I have more, including the Edsels, out on the Anderson folder in my LUG Gallery.

Thanks Wes, Lee, Lerry, Jeff and I went there after you had to go. We all were waiting around for a little sunlight to shoot when I got this shot.
My behind the woodshed picture was poorly composed so I need to work on it..
You did a good job with yours.
