Ghost town of Al Jumail - 02-06-2010, 11:44 AM

A fishing village that was abandoned in the 1970's, now a popular picknicking spot, west of Ruwais, 60 miles north from Texas A&M University at Qatar.

A mosque at the entrance to the village.

Some houses near a beach.

A sign that may be left from recent filming.

Crumbling ruins.

I used HDR by combining three bracketed pictures.
