A world class sculpture, Jacobs Ladder, at Abilene Christian University is well worth some early morning work. Downtown offers some street shooting opportunities. Where ever there is light you should find shooting opportunities....

Find Lytle Land and Cattle.....

and eat the "Abilenian" steak...it's about a 22 oz ribeye (maybe larger I don't remember)

it'll be one of the best steaks you'll ever have

Well... it's time to get back in the game.

well i went by the visitors center and picked up a bunch of brochures. Jacobs ladder looks interesting, is the best time for it early morning? Buffalo gap villiages looks interesting too. And downtown might be nice at night. it's been years since i have been here and don't remember half the stuff here.

Yes, early morning you want the low light. In the evening the light is blocked trees and building to the west.

Perini Ranch at Buffalo Gap. Goooood food. Find a place you can take shots of the B1's. See if you can find the ruins of Impact. There's one of those places with the lights that bounce around way off. It depends on how much beer you drink, however. Go out to the airport where the largest number of Saab turboprops in the world are parked. Drive west to Baird - cool old downtown with old Texas and Pacific Depot. Drive out into the boonies, there's all kinds of stuff to shoot.
