#1...dumb question but what is that thing on the birds back
#2.....why does it look like the eagles wings are purple?
#3...talk about staring a knife in the face
#4...smoking on the job....shame on him
#5...she has a floating man hand
#6...aren't they supposed to wear helmets or something for jousting? I have been to medival times and scarbrough faire but thought they wore something on their face/heads for protection

I don't know why the eagle had purple stuff on him, but it was actually on him.
thing on the birds back is a transmitter so in case he wants to leave they falconer has a better chance of finding him.
when they are jousting yes they wear helments, but not when they are on the ground with swords the helment limits your vision to much for that kind of combat.
