What to see in Carthage, TX???

Hello, guys. I wonder if anybody is familiar with Carthage, TX area. I will be there this weekend, so I wonder if there's any interesting location I could visit.

wow!!! i hadn't heard that town name in a while!!! and i didn't know anyone knew about it!!! my family is originally from around that area. nothing there of interest i'm sorry!!! it's just a small town with a blinking light. there are alot of old homes on the main street if you like architecture, but that's about it. my recommendation is to drive 1 more hour and be in lousiana and hit the casinos!!

They have a cool rodeo.

The Texas Country Music Hall of Fame is there.
Caddo Lake is about an hour north.

My business partner lives there. His daughter has a little photo shop (might be a studio now) on the square.
