About Shelby Lane:
I am a portrait photographer based in New Braunfels, TX. And while I love photographing people, I could also spend all day talking about business. I feel blessed to be in a career that combines these two passions.
As a photographer, I have done a little bit of everything -- wedding photography, commercial work, portraiture, events. But a few years ago, I chose to focus on maternity, baby, and children's photography and that decision has made a huge difference in how I run my business. It seems I talk with so many photographers who are frustrated with their work and feel stuck doing things they aren't really passionate about. I will help you figure out where you want to be, where you need to be, and how to get there.
So on to the studio. In five short years, Shelby Lane Photography has grown from a small on-location only, general portrait and wedding business, to a successful maternity and baby specialist studio. From a small town in Central Texas, the studio draws clients from the larger cities of Austin, San Antonio, and Houston, as well as from neighboring states. There are tons of photographers in my small area. Why does that matter? Because if I can make this work, you can too.
I am dedicated to helping photographers succeed in their businesses, both those just starting out and those who just need new inspiration. In addition to seminars and workshops, I am an active contributor to several online photography forums and my local professional community.
Shelby Lane will be presenting at the October 13th Guild Meeting in Abilene, Texas. Non-guild members are welcome to attend as guests. For more information, please contact the guild. Don't just think about coming - COME! Shelby is one of the best baby photographers out there. Do not miss this one!
