It is a cool place. The shooting is through chain link fencing so wide open apertures to make it less noticable may be needed. I am planing on going the saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, hopefully some others in east Texas will make it too. There's another place in Mckinny that looks like it would be good to go to.

This place is a few miles south of my home. The maples are gorgeous right now.

Thanks Janice, I forgot that small detail.
Wayne, I wish we could go up there now, but the our plans are for Thanksgiving weekend. Maybe you could limber up that Leica and scan a few in for the rest of us to enjoy.

Shame on me. The maples were really gorgeous over the weekend. And me with nothing but black & white film. Shame! Shame! Shame!

With any luck, there will still be lots of color around Wood County at Thanksgiving.

I'm still planning to go on Saturday after Thanksgiving, right now I'm getting everything ready for the trip to Florida to hopefully see the shuttle launch on Friday.

My wife and I made it out to Tiger Creek this past weekend. You are right about the fence, even at 2.8 it was pretty difficult to fade out the fence. I got one decent shot, but they have plenty of kittys, even two that came to them from Neverland Ranch (Michael Jackson's place). Here's my one shot.

Wow, nice photo Michael. I'll have to try to make it back there in April if our plans hold up and we go to Tyler then.
