When: June 19th, 2010
Where: Arlington Camera
In July of 2009 we lost a dear, beloved friend and Canon Sales Representative to a long, courageous battle with cancer. To honor David, we are officially designating June 19th (he was born on June 15th) as “David Pearson Day”. This will be the first in an annual tradition at Arlington Camera. On this day, the profits from the sale of all Canon products, new and used, will go directly to the American Cancer Society in David’s memory to be used for research in fighting this horrible disease.
Our Canon Representative, Chuck Cheney, who was also a close friend of David’s, will be at the store for demos and to answer your questions about Canon products. Long time friends Bob Malish and Video Rep Bill Dambrova will also be on hand. We will be offering free give-aways with any Canon purchase. So if you’ve been thinking about purchasing a Canon digital camera, video camera, lens, or accessories for yourself or someone else, we’d like to encourage you to make that purchase on June 19th to help make a difference in the fight against cancer.
What if you’d like to participate, but don’t shoot with Canon? Well, we’re also hosting a good old-fashioned Bake Sale with all the proceeds going to the ACS. There will be lots of homemade goodies, lovingly baked by the ladies on our staff, available for purchase all day long! We are hopeful that this part of “David Pearson Day” will also be a sweet success!
