Welcome Arlington Camera! I also have shopped with you for all the years I've lived here - 25+. I don't ever really remember going into your store and not coming out with something. Excellent service.

PS - Robert and Brad, as I scrolled down the replies to this post, I couldn't help noticing your avatars look like the two of you are like the "separated at birth" pictures on the late night talk shows. Maybe you shouldn't post right after one another, as we might get confused. I guess it just shows that great minds think alike as the old adage says. Your avatars are great.

Hello and Welcome!

Hermilo - you may want to tell us about the Tamron - Fossil Rim seminar/shoot that's happening this month

Yes, it has been in the works for a long time. It is a day long event with Don Gale he has a great way of teaching he is down to earth and likes to talk. Bogen and Tamron are sponsers of this event. You meet Don Gale on Friday in our store carpool or meet at Fossil Rim. Next you will take tour buses loaded with Tamron lenses and bogen tripods/monopods on a 6-8 tour of Fossil Rim. Don will work with you one on one, and as a group. We will feed you and provide drinks.

Now we DFW'ers have our own place to harass, er.... ask questions ...

I went by the store today to make a purchase of items I needed at the last minute before going out of the country for three weeks. Spent about $150 on several small items and found the staff very knowledgable, and helpful.

My only complaint was that the two employees I dealt with had no idea who the TPF was or that the store was a sponsor... what a shame!!! They could have made the experience a whole lot better for someone what had driven about 300 miles to do business with them because they were a sponsor.

I agree with you. Currently only 2 of us work with forums the rest work with other organizations and groups including local outreach. This Saturday we are taking a group Christmas picture and we will discuss whom we are all working on and with. We as a store apologize every customer is important and should have a great experience in our store. We hope to see again and enjoy your retirement.

Luckily I called AC and they were MORE then willing to grab a 5D in the store and walk me through the setting on the camera! the staff is AWESOME, Knowledgeable, and outstanding! YIPPIE! glad to see you guys made it here.
