My wife always says I am my own worst critic...so I guess I am going in the right direction. I find myself more and more noticing little details in my images the bring them from great to snapshotish.

Over my years as a graphic designer, I've learned to completely separate myself from any emotional ties I have with my projects and put myself in the shoes of the people the artwork/advertisement/etc is intended for.

I'd say the hardest thing to deal with though, is when some people clearly have no idea what the difference between constructive criticism and criticism is. You can help me make my piece better, no problem, but don't flat out insult me.
