Not really. PS and LR are the "digital darkroom" where creativity can vary. Some prefer a little and some a lot.

John, thanks for posting this. I read this all the time in other forums about film vs digital.
I personaly think digital cameras and photoshop has breathed new life into Photography. I did film many years ago and the cost of having film processed, waiting to see the image (for those without darkrooms) is the reason I gave it up until digital came along.
With the new age, you can see what the image looks like right after you press the button and if you dont like it, you can retake the shot again. I can not tell you how many times I got the prints back and said, " BOY!, I wish I would have exposed that differently" or "Maybe this other angle would have been better"
Its a new age and like the typewriter, you can compose a letter just the same as with a keyboard...But why would you want to use a typewriter, with ribbons to change, whiteout for corrections, paper to use.
