Like the bakelite. I sobered up about equipment when I watched a video of Jim Demint shooting with a single 100 watt bulb in a $6 clamp light.

but he used an iPhone, which somewhat dilutes the message, 'cause we all know if we have an iPhone, well, we'd have an iPhone...if he really wanted to make the point, try the $10 key-ring digital I bought my wife a few years ago. no LCD, no finder, just a lens and a USB port. I bet he could do it and it would really make the point moreso than using the most expensive cell phone camera.
