So I'm sitting at home waiting on UPS (lenses :)), making a brisket, listening to Christmas music, catching up on my TPF reading... so why not contribute to this thread. Here's a 30-second effort... See, I can shoot wildlife! Russell would be so proud of me shooting deer!

By the way, I could get used to this non-suit-and-tie-wearing, staying at home full-time gig!

Thought I would add my first shots from the new 50D that I got today thanks to Canon's Loyalty upgrade program.

These shots are straight out the camera with absolutely no editing whatsoever, just cropped and sized for the web.

Shot with the Canon 50D and 18-55 3.5-5.6 Kit lens

Now just need to start reading the manual and start playing with the new toy

Thanks,

Stephen Gibson
