(Was out of town without the computer all weekend, so didn't get a chance to post it.)

The first one has my attention drawn to the flowers (they are bright) and I didn't realize the water was intended as the subject right away.

I like the second one with the tip of the flower in a water drop.

The bluebonnet is "bullseyed" in this frame and loses impact.

The last... "Hang in there!" These little guys are cool to watch, and usually patient. There is a hot spot on its back, but that's hard to avoid because of how shiny they are.

That's cool.. I think I'd like it a little less centered somhow.. or maybe more diagonal.. but that's just me, I think.

I am hoping that any one can join in on the assignment. I just wanted to find some people that enjoy photography as much as I do so that I can learn from them and discuss things. The images in this forum are very nice and so that he photographer has an artistic eye.

Take care,

Keith

Very nice, Keith.. Hibiscus are hard to shoot with a shallow DOF because the stamen is so long.. but this view looks great... used it on your biz cards?

I was shooting for the towering shaddow of the stem. It cought my eye. I didn't use it for a business card I try to lable most of my photos. Thank you for the comments. I feel a bit out of my element on here. I am very eager to chat with others and learn as often as possible

Thanks,

Keith

Keep posting stuff like that and I don't think you're out of your element around here...

Actually, no one is out of their element around here, everyone and every skill level is welcome.. but you are no beginner. :)

Thanks Brad,

I may appear as no beginner but I am young to the art of it. I have been taking photographs for around 15 years but not untill recently have I been showing them to others. About a year ago my wife decided that it was time for me to jump in with both feet inregards to my passion for photography and open a fine art photography and portrait studio. I can not stand in on a converstation regarding lighting or technical things but when it comes to making the camera capture what I see I seem to have a nack for it.

Thanks again for the response,

Keith

Very pretty, Ed. Good, vibrant colors.. water drops for a bonus. Very textbook.
