We're going to up this to once a week until we (or I :)) get tired of the pace....
So for Assignment #2: Gateway
Should be a nice broad topic, open for interpretation.

Here's an Old Old One from my Mom's photo efforts. Vintage 1948. Taken on a trip to California, in one of the National Parks. That's me on the left, my Dad, and my brother Ed. Maybe someone here can identify the Park. We went to so many, and it was so long ago I don't remember which!
It might be "Natural Bridge" in Virginia????

I think I may have posted this before, but it fits the topic. The remains of St. Andrew's Cathedral in St. Andrew's, Scotland, taken in September 2002.

Here is a shot from the Zwinger Palace in Dresden. Gateway from the plaza in front of the Opera house to the courtyard where the picture was shot. Picture taken last fall.

This photo comes from a more pedestrian locale: the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens.

That's so funny, Bruce! I took a similar shot in March: http://www.webphotoforum.com/artist_pic.asp?pID=61091
(That is not my submission for Gateway, though.. I have something else in mind I'm going to go shoot.)

Technically, my earlier post is not qualified since it was actually taken in March, 2004, but here's another which I did take just today.I call it "Sun Gates."
