The children sit in Mom's lap, and all three watch the animated story on the computer's DVD player. ;)

The image isn't showing when I click the link Cap. Is it me or is it Pbase again?

No. I hosted mine from one of my albums at "Phanfare", but Pbase probably has it's own means of hosting it. You may not be adding the "" perfix and suffix to the proper pbase image URL.
Hopefully, some Pbase subscriber will see this and explain their method. Or you could contact Pbase support to find the method. Thats what I did with Phanfare, to find their URL hosting formula.

On the old pages we would just select the IMG box and highlight the link, etc.
This seems a bit more cumbersome, at least until I figure it out........

You still can. Just go into your "User CP" at the top of the forum page. Open the "Edit Options" section, and go down to the second option from the bottom of the page and change that setting to "Enhanced Interface Full WYSIWYG Editing...." or something like that. and most of those old message options will be back, including that one. The icon is different, but hover your curser over them until you find the "Insert Image" button. It is yellow with mountain peaks on it.
