Great 2nd bat shot Brad!
Its rare to see one captured at that stage of the break process. Normally you see the batter with the stub or the barrel spiraling out towards the pitcher.

2 more days to find something broken. I took a walk yesterday with this in mind to do my first assignment pic. Couldn't find anything. Bummer :( I hope to find something this weekend.

Oh DUH!! My boyfriend's arm is broken. LOL

Here he is trying to DJ with his bad arm. Noisy pics, I know. My ISO was like 800 or higher :( This is before it filled up with graffiti.

you can see my addition to the cast here. it's got little hearts around my name. He didn't appreciate the pink hearts. LOL

I couldn't decide on which one to use. So I have broken ground where the ground gave way and collapsed and a broken diving board at an abandoned swimming pool.

Angela, that almost looks like someone sitting there in the ground...what is that?

Barbara, it would be neat to see what the kids come up with.

It is a sink hole and what you can see is the rock and dirt that has fallen in and had water gulleys cut into it.

Toverman:
That happened to my Nifty Fifty last night!
Problem is that I didnt drop it.
It was focusing on a subject about 12ft away and the image went all whacky and I felt a bump on my foot...the front lens element fell out.
On those little splines that stick out from the center hole of the plastic, there are little tabs that look like they are supposed to be lock tabs. One of them had cracked off, and its piece was sitting beside the front of the lens on the floor.

That stinks! At least in my case I knew I was to blame. I ended up buying another 50 f/1.8 just like it and promising to be careful. If you've got the moolah, you might consider upgrading to the better-built 50 f/1.4 (or finding a decent used one).
