Ok guys and gals...I need your help if you are interested....I have been asked by a friend to do a shoot for his band with the idea that some shots could be used as album covers...I know nothing of the Austin area and was wondering if someone could offer some insight...

they are pretty much country in style and are looking for the urban country look from what I can tell...they are all from Austin which is where the shoot will be...any thought are GREATLY appreciated!!!!

You might try The Broken Spoke or Threadgills -- both of these are Austin landmarks. Also, Auditorium Shores for an outdoor shoot with the skyline in the background might be cool.

How about the Arboretum (360 & 183) with their cows statues? And Amy's Ice Cream is right there for a good stop.

The Mean Eyed Cat, that's where my old band did our photo shoot for our CD. It's a bar that is a shrine to Johnny Cash, among other things.
