mural - 07-27-2006, 09:44 AM

After being away for over a month this summer . I am back to art with kids, we are doing a mural that is being painted in a public school cafeteria (my kids school). The design is based on " no place for hate" .

Here is the second day of the mural.
I'll post more as we go.

I like that it's kids creating art.

It would be nice on T-shirts as well.

Nice! Be sure to post the final product with all the kids that helped out in the shot... I second the t-shirt idea.

Thanks Harris

Carlos ,(isn't your wife coming home tonight?)
yep it's as original as anything... the dancers are very similar to the dancers by Matisse ,he was our influence ,and the world inside the hand holders is attempting to say we ,,our school.. kids and families alike , come from all over the world .. welcoming and embracing each other,, in our similarities and differences...,,

And Merrick I will get a picture of all the kids with work.
