I know what you're thinking.... Thrall? Photo-op?

I think every small Texas town has tons of photos just waiting to be captured. Whether it be an old town square or abandoned buildings and alley ways, there are plenty of cool things to be found.

In Thrall there's this old Purina Feed store right off of Hwy 79. They've had an old truck sitting out there for years now, and it has tons of character. I haven't had a chance to explore all the side roads there yet so I'm sure there are other ops than this.

Great work, Mike. I love the mood you've created in these shots by your decision to take out the color and leave only dramatic sepia tones. Great framing, dof, and tonal gradient in the second one. The first one -- wonderfully composed. Would be a perfect for an exhibition.

(Btw...nothing better than a small town for getting great captures!)

Thank you Katya. Maybe one of these days I'll start taking myself seriously enough to do that. :)

Ok, so I messed up on the name of this. The town is Thorndale and not Thrall. There is a nice pile of junk in Thrall, but that's about it :)
