This is an annual fun flight mainly of The Central Tx. Ballooning Assn. pilots, but we have a few out of town balloons also. We meet about 30 minutes before sunrise (6:52) at a space next Mansfield Dam Park. Instead of turning into the entrance to the park, drive straight. This takes you directly to the dam and a loop around a little park area. We set up the balloons in this space so please do not park in this area. After reviewing the weather, if we launch it will be at sunrise. There is no fee for spectating. No balloon rides will be given.

You can view the launch from here or possibly see the balloons from other locations but the flight path is based on the winds. We usually fly to the north, northeast. It is a nice view from a boat as well.
