Went to the air show in Burnet today. Cold, windy, and a little wet.

I went, today, and my shear luck, "Jasond" and I bumped into one another and that's pretty good in my books, especially for never meeting or seeing him before.

The weather was rather lousy, as were most of my pics and it will be tomorrow, before I have anything to post.

I have one static to share at the moment.

Good to see you Bob! Weather was just all around yucky. Most of my photos are rather bland with the overcast conditions. I think next year I will take the 300 or leave the 1.4x on the whole time on the 70-200. My photo looks *exactly* like Lin's but it's by far my best one and I'm very pleased with it, so I'm posting it anyway :)

Although I saw another couple of camera folks around I did not get the chance to meet up.

Yes, it was a cold and did get a little wet.

I used my D300, 70-200, and TC 1.7.

I've played with a few more photos, today, from yesterday's show. I think the lessons I learned from yesterday, somewhat parallels Jason's. If the weather is crap, take the longest lens you have for the flying portion and static displays can be your friend, if the crowds aren't large.
