Well, I should preface this by saying I wasn't there, but I heard about it a million times. Rumor is that when it was time for the session to start, he was mad that the room wasn't full, so he insisted on waiting 30 minutes to start so more people could come. Well, then people started leaving, because of course they didn't want to waste time sitting there when they could be learning, and then he started calling them out individually in front of everyone and embarassing them. Then they finally convinced him to start, and he demanded that they turn the lights off, but for some reason they couldn't turn them off all they way and he started ranting and swearing, at which point some of the staff members got upset and told him to watch his language, and he went nuts. Apparently he started going off about Vietnam and religion and just basically offending everyone in the room, and then the IUSA staff tried to shut him down and he started screaming that they couldn't take him out. Apparently there was much shouting and tantrum throwing and general craziness, and once it was over they had police escort him out.

Not surprising from a guy who refuses to let his name be capitalized....

Lounge: Portfolio reviews went well.. Everyone had a different take on it, but there were a few common things that I heard from everyone, so that's what I'm going to focus on. A few people got my card and offered to help me out or let me assist them and stuff, so that's very exciting.

I also bought a Mark II N today, which is equally exciting :)

Wow. I had no idea that any of that went on. Am still reeling from all the info. My fav.s were pre-convention "Selling the Experience" with Jed and Vicki Taufer, Then "Professional Retouching Techniques" with Katrin Eisman, "How to Wow" with Jack Davis and "Cutting Edge Wedding" flow posing techniques with Doug Gordon.

I enjoyed getting to see some of you at the Expo. Am just sorry that I didn't get to meet all the TPF'ers who attended.

Ahhh, I see. Thanks for the quick reply--I was dying of curiousity. Isn't it funny that he was going to speak about helping philanthropic groups?

Are you exhausted? I saw you running around several times but didn't try to stop you, it was clear that you were on a "mission".

Your poor son.. Tell him he has my sincere pity ;)

I want to die. I am SO tired.. But it's good tired. This has been the most amazing five days ever. I've networked so much, I think I may have even gotten some jobs out of it, not to mention everythng I've learned. I've loved it.. But my feet definitely want to fall off

Well you guys all did a great job. I was impressed with how well things seemed to go. Can you believe how many people were there?

Congratulations on the potential jobs. Isn't it exciting to get that sort of response from exper. pro's seeing your work? I wish I'd gotten to see your portfolio.

Well, I'll pass your sympathy on to my son in the morning...right now he's out because it's "guys night out"..no girlfriends (or moms) allowed. He did make sure to take me to dinner beforehand) [I'm just a little proud of my kids ]

I hope you get a chance to rest your poor weary feet. You guys were really worked hard. I was impressed with your dedication. (I really did see you 4 or 5 times just racing along)

Sleep well, little Aggie girl
