ACC Photography courses - 04-12-2010, 07:42 PM

Has anyone had any experience taking/teaching any of the ACC photography courses. I am planning on taking some this summer and wanted to get an idea of what to expect and to see if it's worth my time and money. Thanks.

I know Lynn Jones and a couple of the other instructors there. Lynn is one of the most knowledgeable photographers you would ever want to meet. The program there in my opinion is one of the best in the state if not in the nation.

One of the final semester requirements is to enter the TPPA print competition and attend the TPPA Summer Seminar in Kerrville. This is part of the "real world" training that prepares the students to actually make a living in photography.

I learned a great deal. The post production of modern digital photography is deeply taught here. They focus on adobe products, like photoshop and lightroom. in the 2 camera classes I took I decided on a path and took it. I would love to go back and take some more classes, but its time to make some money instead.

Yup, Lynn knows anything and everything there is to know about photography. I'll be going to kerrville this summer (the class is expensive)!
