A gallery near where I live has been doing monthly shows of different types of art. They have been covered very well in the local paper (the Lake Travis View) with full page articles and pictures of the art. The shows have had good attendance too. The owner has yet to do a photography show, but she wants to. She asked me if I knew one or two other photographers that she could display along with my work. So I'm looking for a person or two whose work would complement mine, but not be too similar. I would be hanging all black and white, so someone doing color would probably be a good contrast. Also, being from the hill country would be a plus, as many of the artists shown so far have been from the region.
I figured I'd check with TPF'ers, so anyone out there want to hang their stuff in a gallery for a month? Let me know and I'll forward your webpage/gallery site on to the owner, so she can check it out.
