There's a fellow comming into town to judge a Gordon Setter show on Sunday and he asked me if I could help him find a place to spend Saturday shooting wildlife in the Hutto area. l don't have a clue. If you can help please advise me as soon as you can. He will be here Friday night. Thanks.\

I've heard some teenagers go on down to the creek and drink, maybe they'll get wild.
(sorry, don't know much about Hutto)

Lived in Hutto until last month. Sorry, but I don't know of any wildlife in that area except for cattle. Matt (Roadrnr) lives in Hutto. Maybe he has some ideas.

You might check around Granger Lake near Taylor (on Hwy 95). Brushy Creek in downtown Round Rock used to have some egrets and herons that hung out there. Used to live in Round Rock, but it has been a couple of years since I was there. Oh, the park behind the Dell Diamond may have a few ducks.
If he wants to go that far there is always Town Lake in Austin.

Sorry I'm a little late to the thread....
Owls, egrets, falcons are in the area.... but I cannot think of any good spots for photos. Maybe a hike down Brushy Creek?

Best wishes,
Steve
