That is what we sort of do in the Austin Flickr group. Check that out, but I think that would be cool. I am getting into the strobist thing.

As Stanford mentioned, a couple of the Austin flickr groups are quite active and do a fair bit of portrait work.

the strobist group has a fairly big event coming up this weekend, with models and a location shoot. The Austin group gets together every week or so mostly to chat and have lunch on a Sunday, but that often branches off into shoots as well.
