The 4th of July fireworks is always over Town Lake (now called Lady Bird Lake). I have gone on top of the REI/Bookpeople parking garage in past years, but with all the new condos and cranes down there, I couldn't tell you where is a good place this year. You may want to check around south of the river, to get the skyline, and maybe the capitol, in the background. --------------------------- "The trail is the thing, not the end of the trail.
