Nice shots. I thought about stopping out there for the same reasons, getiing a few shots. However, I was trired from shooting SXSW, so I went on home in Hutto.

I think somebody likes elliptical subjects.

Nice photos, BTW.

I love 'em!

Great composition on #1....reminds me of a giant fan.

#2 Love the swirl of the duckies in the mini-ponds against the background and stuffed animals. For some reason, those stuffed animals remind me of bunches of fruits and veggies.

#3 Reminds me of my days with Spriograph.

#4 Respect the fire.

Love photos that spark memories.

Thanks for the nice comments guys! I've always wanted a photo of a ferris wheel like that. Looking at the screen on the back of my camera, I didn't think any of my Zipper photos would be good, but I liked this one.

Casey - somebody likes his Sigma 10-20!! I can't get enough of this lens. I don't know how I ever did without it. I can get so close to the subject and you're right all of the elliptical subjects make it that much more fun!

Jack,

Great shots. I've always wanted to try shooting some pictures at the carnival but I never know when or where they're running until it's over. We're moving to Round Rock next month so maybe we'll bump into each other at the next carnival.

Thanks Phil. This particular carnival seems to come to town every 3 month or so. It's at the Dell Diamond and it's stays around a week.
