Austin parks or free locations for cosplay photos

I'm headed down to Austin next month to photograph some cosplayers as a hobby. Cosplayers are kids who dress up as japanese cartoon or video game characters. It's pretty much a time for photos culture.

So, I'm looking for scenic or unique landscapes. I'd appreciate any suggestions on locations or places where we'd be unwelcome.

if you want jungle/forest look there is a nice place where we shoot Frazetta Theme Shoot:

balcones district park, 12017 amherst dr. austin 78727

there are also plenty of parks in Austin, bull creek is also a good place.

Try looking up Mayfield Park...it is really pretty there...and free!
