Senior 2010 Reps - 06-20-2009, 11:32 PM

This will be the first time that we have Senior Reps. We have 9 Seniors from 3 different areas surrounding our Studio. One of the schools have 47 Seniors for 2010. We have planned some activities and "Parties" for them to bring other Seniors to show our work. I have just added up what I would like to give each Rep, but that comes to a large total!

My question is "If you have Senior Reps." What do you offer to them for being a Rep.

Thank you for your response.

Free session (duh), discount based on the number of clients that book with their rep card (because their rep card = $25 off the session, there's incentive for both parties.)The reps got a fixed $3 per card off their order of products, and if the discount surpassed the cost of their order, then I got them a gift card or something.

I've seen some photographers offer to pay per booked referral. I have seen some that offer incentive prizes... Such as: 5 "bookings" gets an iPod Shuffle, 10 gets an iPod Nano, 25 gets a Netbook etc... You don't want to give your reps "photos"... give the session away sure, and discount the "reps" order... but if you "give away" photos you are taking away the "value" of your photography...

Please explain this process. I took my first Senior Portraits this past Spring and hope to pick up more business this year.
Thanks,
E.

Basically you select students (usually a certain # of kids per school). The goal is to use the senior's different social circles to pull in more seniors.
