All in One Printer Recommendation - 07-10-2009, 06:13 PM

I've got an Epson R2400 for the photos, but what are y'all using to print receipts, and do the occasional fax or copy for business use. Mostly black text, but with a bit of color use now and then. Was using an Epson GX5400, but it died today. Went online to look at recommendations, and they all reference speed, and a bunch of stuff I'm not really that concerned about. I'm just interested in it holding up, and ink usage, which no one seems to take into consideration on the rating sites. But that old Epson was a pain with it not printing if one of the colors was out, when I didn't even need the color.

I have an OLD Lexmark laser printer that we do all of ours on. Anything I need that requires color - I print from Millers or WHCC - usually that's press type stuff (business cards, etc.). I just haven't found it economical to print color at home... we have a stupid brother MFC something another that if it runs out of ONE color - it's dead in the water. It won't do ANYTHING... pos...

I'm using an HP F380 - copy, scan, print. It's been reliable over the past year - got it Aug 08.
