recommend a website design

Hello photographers
Do weddings, portraits, and parties. Want a website but do not want to be a programmer. Anyone got a recommendation for company or person to get a website set up for not a whole lot of money?? Thanks

Their admin panel is AWESOME - you can change so much about your site without needing to contact them at ALL.

The customer service is phenomenal! PHENOMENAL! I pay $16/month for premium service which includes the site, hosting, and a cart (checkout) process as well.

If I want to change templates... I pay $20... and I can change templates... so instead of being tied into 'one' template design... I can switch it up if I like.

Thanks for all the feedback. I looked at Portfoliositez but worried that I don't know enough to do all the setting up. Photography I know pretty well but not web stuff.

Mark - the cool thing about portfoliositez - is that you don't need to know ONE thing about setting up a website, to be able to setup a website.

This is your admin page - where you just type in the words, change the colors, etc.



Adding images is as easy as uploading a file:


And it's got cool features - which I don't use - cause I like the solid black background - but you can actually pick a color from your image to be the background (it changes with each image if you like it to do so)



The thing I like MOST about portfoliositez is that you do NOT have to know anything about a website, to be able to put one up.

One of the things I've heard is so great about CMD is their customer service. And you'll really want that esp during the "getting everything set up" time. Someone mentioned Blu. The reason (if you are unaware) is their customer service is TERRIBLE. I have them and have for a couple years now. When I write them a question, I just have to realize it could be a month or more before the question is resolved... b/c they will reply with an inadequate, unhelpful answer and I will have to write back for clarification, etc etc. On a positive note, their templates are AMAZING and their prices are unbeatable.
