Just as long as you stole it from someone else and not Mindy!

I kid, I kid. Nice balance. Very straightforward.

Wow that's close to Mindy's. I always liked hers.
What was the other site?

It's redundant. I assume BSP stands for Barrett Shepherd Photography, so it's Barrett Shepherd Photography Photography, but if you drop the P then you'd have BS Photography and I don't think you'd want that. You might consider working with a designer, or if you are, a better designer. Perhaps ask Dennis for a quote.

Here's my honest opinion.
I really like the font for the first name but not loving the 2nd font for the Shepherd. The big black dot in the middle is what draws your attention but it doesn't really tell you anything and the more I stare at it the more I realize its not round.

I just went through making a new logo and I like you were on one of these forums and a lady came on to say keep it simple, find a great font and let it work for you and loose all the funny shapes and such. She usually charges $600 for a logo so I considered it free advice. Also I read somewhere that consumers find logos more attractive when they are rectangle shaped. Don't know why that is but that's what I read!

Thanks, but I don't freelance design anymore. Daytime designer (working for the man), nighttime photographer!

You mean http://99designs.com ? I know several people who used them for the startups, and I'll be using them in the very near future.

I hear you can just hand out disposable cameras at a wedding instead of hiring a professional. Good grief.
