I found Marianne Drenthe's web site today. She has a really great description of what it all means and the costs involved. She is trying to educate her clients. Even better as long as you give her credit, you can take the info and use it.

this is kinda related...it piggy backs on the change element we are all facing in this field.

when in the past, did the process of portraiture go through a similar phase?

late 1800's with portrait paintings. the photographer was the death of the portrait painter. BANG! artless impostors with cameras would travel the country and you could get a portrait in way less than than the normal # of DAYS it took to sit for a painting...and instant gratification (we are such whorey people when it comes to instant gratification)...and did i mention it was way cheaper? sound familiar?

revolution is interesting.
