Hello. my name is John Fernandez and I work for Toyota mfg as a skilled group leader here in San Antonio. We just moved here from Michigan about 3 years ago, and we are now planning our next move (to Fort Lauderdale, FL) that should happen before the end of the year. I've been taking pictures on the side for a little over 2 years now, but have never done a wedding. Plans are, we will move to Florida, and I'll open up a photography business there. I have a wife and 2 kids, and they are super excited to move (we'll be moving close to family). I was wondering, if there is any photographers in San Antonio, TX that would be ok with to shadow your next wedding as a form to gain experience, and build a portfolio. I will work under your terms, and follow your directions. I'm sure I can be of assistance as well. I'd like to have 3 or 4 weddings under my belt before we leave. That should smooth out (at least a little) that "cold in the stomach" feeling of nervousness. I promise I won't become a competitor. We WILL move to Florida. We are very alone here, and we never really adapted to living away from all of our friends and family. Please consider, and i promise I won't get in the way, or make any money with the pictures.
