I was using RGB Labs in Industrial Blvd. in Dallas, but I just found out they closed 2 weeks ago. They did a great job on prints w/ a great turn around time and very good prices. Does anyone know what happened to them? besides not charging enought I guess....

I forgot to mention: if anyone was using them (RGB Labs), who are you using now since they've closed? Because I'm starting to check out some prices out there w/ different labs and can't find the same prices as what RGB had.

We have actually gone away from local labs... We now SWEAR by White House... www.whcc.com you can upload your order and in most cases it is done within a day and on its way back to you.... (2 day air UPS at no charge)... We have now placed our 10th order and have been 100% pleased... give 'em a try you won't be disappointed.

12-04-2007, 12:50 PM
I have placed several order within the last couple of weeks with everything going to Millers with one exception. I sent one order to Bay Photo specifically for some multi image Christmas cards and since they had 50% off your first order, thought I'd order a few other prints and see how they do.
First of all, I placed the Bay Photo order last Thursday and it's still "In Production." When I finally got in touch with their customer service, after a 15 minute hold, They really didn't have an answer as to the status of my order but said I was lucky I hadn't ordered one of those items that is taking a long time. Those were the press printed Christmas cards I was told.
Last night, I placed an order with Millers at 11:00 p.m. As of 11:00 a.m. this moring, it was in packaging and will be shipped today.
There's something to be said for customer service! I've never had to wait on hold with Millers and their work is second to none in my opinion. And I'm not complaining about the time factor with Bay Photo. I had actually called about another issue, but it was a beating just to get to talk to someone.
Just my two cents worth.

Just wanted to throw in another kudos to Millers!
My first experience using a pro lab and I'm too impressed for words.
Even now durring what must be one of their busiest times of year I sent in 3 orders this week...one on monday which I recieved on Tuesday, one on Tuesday which I recived on wednesday and one on thursday which I recieved on friday...oh and I sent one in late thursday night and that shipped yesterday and shows arrival on monday.....(though I suspect Fedex will come up with some lame excuse for not getting it here on monday like "it's Christmas", or "Kansas is under 6 inches of ice"
1 day processing and free overnight shipping....can anyone beat that? I've been really happy with the quality of the prints too!

Simply Canvas at www.simplycanvas.com
Only deals with photography businesses, but does a superb job at what they do.

Sugar Land, TX has a place called "ASAP 30 MIN FOTO LAB"; and their web site is http://www.myphotoshop.com/
You have to remember to tell them you a professional Photographer or you will not get the discounted rates. Ask for Mike.
I know they have two location now. They had to grow because of all the business they get. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
