I know this is an older thread but I just wanted to mention that the tax laws changed a year or two ago, and we are now required to collect and remit sales taxes for all of our print sales, even if they are handled through a third-party hosting site. That means that if you use a third-party site to handle your print sales such as Pictage, SmugMug, Collages.net, etc, they either have to charge sales tax on all your orders and then send it to you so that you can pay it to the government, or you have to invoice each of those clients individually for the sales tax after their order.
