I want to focus the later part of the year to marketing my wedding photography business. I hope you can help me to do the right things.
I have three domain names right now and I am not sure which is best going forward. Please help me to pick one of the following names: - 88photography
- nguyenfoto
- nguyenphoto
Thank you for your help.

I voted for #1. Alot of people (unfortunately in this day and age) still do not know how to pronounce Nguyen. I thought 88photography was cool when I visited your website before.
thought about 88Photo or 88foto?
By the way, what does the 88 signify?

almost #1 - basic rule of marketing, expect people to have spelling issues and KISS. if they cant spell it, they cant find you. most people learned how to spell photography by the time they need a wedding photog.
id drop the 88 and use a different number though. 88 will attract different folks than i woulda thought you'd expect. pay attention to numerical meanings. 666 is also bad. you might as well call yourself freakin evil photography.

Oh snap! I forgot about that Holly! I remember seeing something on a documentary where like, they used that number to signify Nazi stuff...Prison Tats and so forth...
Looks like it's back to square one Thi...

I liked the first one before "88" turns out to be not so friendly a number for some people. Or, if it means a lot to you, find a way to make it yours.

Though, I like Nguyenfoto. Market to people who can spell.

Pronunciation is another issue, though. You don't want to trip would-be clients up by them being scared to call you. Not everyone knows Nguyen="win" despite it being a fairly common name.
Which on that point, you might want to use your first and last name for the actual biz name to distinguish yourself if you go with htat.

88 suppose to be lucky number in Chinese. Though I am Vietnamese, I have seen Chinese pay a lot of money for the lucky number. So that why I picked 88.
Thank you for the inputs though.

I know that using my last name maybe a problem and 88 is more easy to remember. I don't want to start over again. One of the two names should be OK. Some of you thought that people may not like my business because my name would suggest something foreign. I am not worry about that because I don't want to shoot wedding those people anyway. I would rather that they see what they are getting to start out with and finding another photographer if they are uncomfortable with my foreignness.
Thank for the inputs.
Thi
