I am tired of my indecisiveness. I need someone to whip my business into shape. How do I find a small business adviser to help me moving in the right direction?

I would start with the SBA (Small Business Administration). They have a free service from SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) usually administered through your local Chamber of Commerce. Also some of the labs offer business counseling. As a last resort, PPA has a business planning service SMS, if your business meets their criteria and you can afford the price.

combining those resources was helpful to us (SBA, PPA, and local college profs who were CEOs). our local SBA didnt have any photogs, but if you can separate the stages your biz needs to do what into compartments, they can help you fill in the whats and hows of your biz and get all the details you need.

The IRS thing...accounting (wanting to do it my self) and yes those pesky taxes, permits all that stuff. I am clueless.

That, I can help with. I am in Houston, but I can definitely get you started in the right direction, for free. PM me. I like your blog, website (so far) and get a really good feel from it about you. I think you do very good work. The big thing is to tell me where you see yourself positioned in your market and where you want to be. The biggest obstacle I find is that I (or any other consultant) can provide sure fire ways to improve sales, but unless the person/business is bought in to changing some things about how they currently do business, it's a waste of time (and money).
