No, it was John Mireles, of the Photographer's Tool Kit | Wedding, Portrait and Associate Photography Contracts site. He had responded to my post on another forum and suggested the image is worth $15k, more or less depending on the uniqueness. I've been a member of that forum for a few years now and had seen his work/ read his posts and felt comfortable paying him for a short phone consult to iron out how to handle the request.

Exclusivity does have a value, but at this point it's up to your negotiating...there's not really a standard % markup.

Update: I was notified yesterday that the agency presented the image to their client on Friday and it was accepted!

Now they're seeking 'global rights' as an option. I'll turn in a quote tomorrow.

I don't have the check in hand yet, so I'll have to hold off on that 1DIV purchase until then, but to think, before I contacted John (and you guys here :) ) I was ready to sell it for roughly 200x less
