client ordering prints.... - 12-28-2009, 02:21 PM

OK, my presentation is tomorrow. Will be both parents, 2 younger sisters and senior. My senior also invited her best friend and I think her best friends mom is coming too. I think that's great, WOOHOO. My question, at the end of the presentation, when it's ordering time... Is it responsible to talk about finances with 2 different parties in the room? I know the "friend" and her mom are more well off then most of us. How do you discuss pricing with the client with other potential clients in the room. Especially if you know your client is not nearly as well off as the "friend."

Does any of that make sense?!?

If they show up together then they aren't worried and I am sure they know she is well off. You can always offer the other girl a few prints for the referral.

Your prices don't change. Each will choose what they can afford. Treat them the same. You could always have a forum that they can check off the Items that they want or pkgs. What they spend doesn't have to be mentioned.

You're thinking too much. Proceed as normal. If they were concerned about pricing in front of these people, they wouldnt have invited them all. Especially if you made it clear that the proofing session is also the time for buying. If you use your group dynamic correctly, you should have a very good sale. Sell all of them. :o)

Thanks for asking Don, I think it went really well. I showed 30 images, Dad loved and ordered 2, senior totally loved and ordered 3 and mom loved them all but about 5 of them(hasn't placed her order yet except for the 104 wallets). Now this is my senior rep viewing so I wasn't expecting too much of a sale right now. Their contract has a lot of incentives for bringing me customers. One of the good points, the friend that was supposed to come didn't, but in the middle of the viewing, the mom made her daughter call them and we set up another viewing so they could see the show.
