What do YOU tell people when someone asks to see the image on your LCD screen as your shooting?

I have always let them see 1 or 2 and explain that I shoot in RAW and Neutral Color tone so this image will look nothing like the end result

Im just wondering, what do you say?

"Let me see yours" .... funny ... I usually get a funny response back or a weird look with that comment.

Honestly, I don't usually let anyone look at the LCD screen unless it is the client him/her-self.

I usually show them ones that really stand out to me right after I take them and say "Wow, look what I caught? Looks fabulous!" They usually don't ask to see anymore cuz I've already proven that I'm doing a great job, and they're happy with that. :)

This happened to me for the first time on my last engagement shoot. I was talking about how great they were doing and how good the pictures looked, and they asked with excitement "can we see?" Of course!

I tell them no, I have the automatic show after taking the photo turned off which helps prevent the question. I just tell them I prefer to show them the final product.

I almost always show the client what I'm shooting. I don't do a lot of PP so the images look pretty close to what they see.
The normal response I get is something like "omg you're the best photographer ever and I want to have your baby!!!" which always make me feel good, even when a dude says it.

I always share the images as we go - it helps me create rapport and it increases their confidence that the results will be good. Normally the images on the LCD look good, as they are so small, so I don't worry at all about them not being color corrected, etc. I also show them the images to help address some posing issue or to explain what I want. Everyone is excited to see their pics right away.

For portraits I will usually show an image or two from the first part of the session to build the clients confidence that the session is going well. If I get something later on in the session that is really outstanding I might show that also.

For weddings I will only show an image if someone asks to see it. Not that I mind, but usually there just isn't time for that.

I show them before they ask - so that they can see what I am seeing and what looks good in posing and what does not... an image of a chin up and a chin in the right position speaks a 1000 chin downs...

For me, it's a fun part of the process for clients to be conspirators in our fun photo session. I definitely show them!

Wish I could send files wirelessly to a portable device as I shoot, about 10 inches of HD screen, easy-to-use interface. Hmmm. Maybe Apple will come out with something like that.

I dont let them see it. It breaks the flow of the session and if its a boudoir shoot, the processing is very important. I dont let them see "naked pictures" that arent wearing any processing yet.

I'm going to give away one of my secrets. I've found that it works great when shooting toddlers. I show the little ones their image as we go along. It breaks the shyness and seems like it makes them more engaged in the process. Sometimes it creates quite the ham which can be very cute. Of course YMMV.

I don't mind showing a few photos, as long as it doesn't break the flow.
