Seniors - Timeline - 02-09-2010, 10:31 AM

Hi there,

I am looking at moving into the senior market. I was not educated in the USA so I don't fully understand the timeline of a senior year.

Here are some questions I have.

When does a Senior 2011 actually graduate?
When would he actually get his senior photos taken?
When would you market to 2011 seniors?
What is classified as the "off season"?
When would you try to identify "ambassadors" for the 2011 season?

Many thanks and any other input would be appreciate.

Regards
Tony

2011 Seniors will graduate late May or early June 2011
They become a Senior on the last day of class 2010 and some will have photos done right away. We photographed 2/3rd of our seniors during the summer.
We market to Seniors year-round with a heavier emphasis on the summer months.
There are busier times and slower times, but some will wait until just a few weeks before graduation.
I never used "Ambassadors", but if I did I would be recruiting them right now. You need to get their session completed and images into their hands way before the end of the school year.
