OMG! The crazy-a$$ weather! - 03-04-2010, 09:53 AM

All this rain and snow has so totally screwed with my session times. Friggin hedgehog and 6 more weeks of winter. Is winter over yet?!?!

(people dont come out in the rain around here - snow has an Apocalypse feeling to it).

PS - just whining. This winter I thought, we never have to reschedule b/c of snow, I'll just double up my sessions to keep things moving. I was so wrong. I have work up to my eye balls.

PPS - next time it snows, my kids want to build an igloo. i got snow plans.

PPSS - i burned a whole cord of wood and winter isnt over yet. a whole cord! im gonna have to take this guys bat, b/c im all outa wood -->

I know it's not the same, but you could get some gas logs and ditch the wood. Growing up in Virginia, we had regular snow (not like you had in NY) and it was seasonably cold. My dad installed a woodstove in the basement with a blower that heated the whole house. The woodstove burned the wood slowly, and he'd load it up at night and it would last well until the next night. Sometimes I miss those days, and people who knew how to drive on snow.

My kids tried the igloo thing.. igloo.. DFW area.. shudder... it didn't work out so well.. but I had a mound of snow/ice in my backyard for a week after the snow. LOL

Yea, I have these great ideas for spring, but I need spring to get here, dammit.

It is sunny and 71. I'm not sure what the problem is. (Yes, Texas is a big state. Our "local" forecast could just about cover a state like RI.)
