I shoot my daughters sports - the basketball coach at her school asked if I could get a few of the Varsity team. My daughter loves to watch the varsity team play, and the exposure never hurts.
Its the end of the school year, and the award show is tomorrow night for the varsity sports.
I am working on a long term relationship with the school - I want their school portraits/team portraits - the guy who does it, doesn't do photography except for this school, and unfortunately it shows.
I've got probably 10 games - even if there is only 100 photos (there's way more) that is 1000 photos to provide.... obviously they aren't going to want ALL the photos - but I'm not taking the time to sift through to find 'just' photos of #4... So I've got it setup date/team versus team name - and am trying to decide how to best hand over the photos.
My options:
1.) Upload it to website - give them the download info for them to access/download what they want.
2.) Burn it to dvd - probably looking at 3 DVD's per player - there are 15 players - 45 dvds.
3.) Pick up Jump Drives and hand them out.
1 - easiest because they do all the work - but smallest impact visually/tactile.
2 - more work - but there is a 'bulk' factor of feeling like they are getting a significant amount of 'stuff' - plus added bonus of using packaging, etc to 'impact' parents.
3 - geek choice...but more expensive...but not sure it's something that would be appreciated by everyone...
What would YOU do?
