Looking for p/t or f/t asst. job

I know there are a lot of posts like these, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I finished up my journalism degree in May, and I'm having trouble finding a writing job. However, since photography is a huge hobby of mine, I'm also looking for part-time or full-time work as an assistant, whether it's shooting, setup or post production.

Basics:

I'm 22. I've been shooting for about six years now, ever since my sister bought me a refurbed AE-1. I shoot with a 5D Mk. II now and three lenses: 17-40 f/4 L, 50 f/1.4, and a first-gen 70-200mm f/2.8L. I also have a lensbaby for some creative things. I have a small lighting setup and some other peripherals, and I primarily enjoy shooting portraits, sports and landscapes.

I've shot for student publications before, with and without lights. I know Photoshop, Lightroom, etc. I'm also familiar with videography and know Premier, Avid and Final Cut, if that helps.

I live in West Houston, basically between Sugarland and Katy, but I can travel (or relocate) and work flexible hours. If you have a position to fill, I can send you my resume and portfolio suited to the specific job.

Good luck Lee, if you were in North Dallas I would give you a shot. I am looking for a part timer now, not enough hours for you to relocate though...but perhaps someone else is looking.
