Hi my name is Scarlett and well i have a couple of weeks with using a dslr and a year of experience with photoshop I'm studying graphic design and well I'm also trying to learn about modeling and well i was posting this to ask for jobs as assistant or model I can show you some pictures that i have taken recently and also provide pictures of myself.I'm very interested in learning about photography from the pros and wanted an opportunity to increase my knowledge on photography and photoshop.

Welcome Jocelyn (Scarlett), I too started in Graphic Design / Multimedia, but after getting my degree I found I liked photography a whole bunch more. Now I use my knowledge of multimedia to enhance what I can do with my photos.

Anyway, welcome to TPF.....tons of knowledge to learn here.

Thank you msamadani:) and yeah graphic design is a great thing and i had someone get me into photography and really like it so far i just want to go out and be creative with what i have around me and im looking forward to learning as much as i can from everyone.

it's great you're doing graphic design as well as photography... IMO, any design skills you get will make you a better photographer.

I make my living as a designer, been tinkering with photography for a couple years, but it's only become pretty serious this past year or so.

I think the biggest tip I can give is to never stop looking for inspiration from designers/photographers you dig and never assume you're better at it than anyone else...

everyone can learn something new every day from unexpected places.

thats really cool and yeah i believe you can never stop learning you can always find somthing new to do especially when im a complete noob.Its really interesting I'm reading a couple of photography books and I'm just fascinated with the pics and the new things im learning from people its motivating and make me want to go crazy and try it out.
